I am liking the new cuts for shirts and pants lately. The use of silky, crepe and chiffon fabrics give clothing a more dressed up look but the relaxed fits make them easy to dress down anytime.
A tweed blazer somehow always makes me feel a little more scholarly. Here is one of my transition outfits for this season. The tights gave me a little bit of warmth but the weather wasn’t too cool yet that shorts were out of the question and the scarf gave the outfit a splash of color since I’m not quite ready to let go of summer…
Not much to say, I love things that look nautical or sailor inspired and this shirt (it’s actually a dress but was too short for work) gave off that feel for me. Baggy (but not sloppy) shorts are the trend right now and I am so happy because it’s summer and you want to look stylish yet comfort is always important.
I'm a self proclaimed shopaholic. I am just as obsessed with food. I can buy anything and eat anything. When I'm not doing either of these things you can probably find me watching bad reality tv, reading or hanging out with my family and friends. Just your average girl with a taste for champagne life!
