This pretty blush top makes it very easy to go from a relaxed classy look to something a little more edgy with just a change of bottoms and accessories. For a nice dinner date look, I paired it with some silk slacks and a classic strand of pearls. To take the look to something more daring for cocktails and dancing, I switched out the pants for some leather leggings and replaced the pearls with feather earrings for a little bit of rock and roll. Now that I have the outfits, I just need to make the plans! Looking forward to the weekend already…
Happy Monday everyone!

I love dressing easy and comfortably during the weekends. I like to choose pieces that go easily together and can be dressed up or down fairly quickly because I rarely plan my weekend activities ahead of time. This bag is one of my favorites this season. It holds everything I need with ample space and the navy stripes set the tone for summer with a nautical feel.
Wedges are also great for the weekend and I can’t get enough of these Jeffrey Campbell ones! They look good even with my chipped toe nail, hehe and also provide me a few extra inches without the extra pain that usually accompanies heels.

After searching far and wide for a summer sweater I settled upon this basic black linen one from T. Babaton. I love the lightness that comes with the linen, a perfect summer fabric. And of course, bloomer shorts are just so precious that I had to add another pair to the collection! I am looking forward to a nice, relaxing and fun filled weekend!
Happy Friday!

For a person that looooves chips and salsa as much as I do it’s surprising I have never made my own salsa. I attempted to make my own last night and I happened to have some mangoes on hand so sparked the idea! The salsa turned out delicious and was a perfect addition to our usual dinner of carne asada tacos.
Pineapple Mango Salsa Recipe
1 mango
Half a fresh pineapple
Half a bunch of cilantro
Half a sweet yellow onion
1 jalapeño pepper (optional)
1 10oz. can of southwest style diced tomatoes and chilies
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
1-2 teaspoons white vinegar
1 lime
Chop up pineapple, mango, cilantro, onion and jalapeño. Mix all ingredients together in a big bowl. Add lime juice, vinegar, garlic powder and salt and pepper to suit your tastes.
Enjoy!
XO,
Anna
