The sun came out to play this past weekend so I thought my red plastic sunglasses should too!  I love me a little pop of red to add spice to any outfit…on this particular day I paired my glasses with matching red lips.  Ooh la la!

Teenage Dream

Long gone are the days of walking down the hallways of my old high school gossiping with girlfriends about who the hottest boys are and what we’ll all wear to the latest dance.  These dresses make me want to go to homecoming dances all over again…

I may not be going to dances anytime soon but at least there will be cocktail parties to look forward to this coming season where I can put on any one of these dresses, take the hand of my dashing date and live out my teenage dreams.

Dress- Dancing in the Dark Dress (Mod Cloth)

Drink of choice- Prosseco

I am glad I got to finally take this dress out of the closet and put it to use.  Flutter sleeves add a whimsical touch and I like the color block of the dress and the length is just right for a shorty like me.
